The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company presents "Les Miserables" opening April 9th and running through April 26th.

"Les Miserables" is a musical based on a novel of the same name by French Poet and Playwright, Victor Hugo. The 1862 novel is considered by many to be one of the best novels of the 19th century. Epic, grand and uplifting "Les Miserables" packs an emotional wallop that has thrilled audiences all over the world. Winner of over 100 international awards and seen by millions of people worldwide, "Les Miserables" sweeps its' audience through an epic tale of broken dreams, passion and redemption, against a backdrop of a nation in the grip of revolution.

"Les Miserables" is directed by veterans, Jill Dunlap and Kym Sims with music direction under the highly respected, James Story and Tim Ferguson as show pianist and orchestra leader.
