The University of Montana will offer Book of Days, a comic drama from Lanford Wilson, one of the masters of modern and contemporary American theater. Book of Days runs in the Masquer Theatre of the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on campus today, March 4-8 and March 11-14 at 7:30 pm. The production will close with a matinee performance on Saturday, March 15 at 2:00 pm.

Dublin, Missouri: population 4,780. A clean, quiet, prosperous town ... or so it seems. Framed by the local Baptist church, a thriving community theatre, and the cheese factory that is the lifeblood of the local economy, Dublin appears to be just like any other small American town. But a menacing storm brews on the horizon, threatening to rock Dublin's foundations of faith and family; only one voice calls out for justice. A murder-mystery at its core, Book of Days is also a whimsical and scathing look at the many kinds of power people seek. Wilson explores how an individual voice can rise up and speak the truth but may prove unpopular for those convictions.

Tickets: $16 General; $14 Seniors (60+)/Students (any school ID required); $10 Children 12 & under. Call the UMArts Box Office at 406-243-4581, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or order tickets online at tickets.umtheatredance.org.
