The Old Log Theatre presents Excelsior Entertainments production of THE JUNGLE BOOK, a new adaptation of the classic Rudyard Kipling story, running June 21 through August 12, 2016.

Adapted and written for the Old Log Theatre stage by David Frankenfield and R. Kent Knutson, directed by Anne Byrd, Scenic & Lighting Designer Erik Paulson, Costume Designer Sara Wilcox and Sound Designer Jeff Geisler.

This new adaptation of Rudyard Kipling original story offers the messages of sharing, community, trust and responsibility through the tale of a young boy lost in the jungles of India, raised by a pack of wolves, befriended by the lovable Baloo and protected by the noble black panther Bagheera. These loving animals accept and raise the human child as one of their own, but not all is peaceful in the Jungle. Shere Kahn, the tiger has vowed to destroy Mowgli and be rid of humans forever.
