THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW returns to Minneapolis by popular demand to perform two shows of the best of Pink Floyd at Hennepin Theatre Trust's State Theatre, 805 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, 55402, at 8 pm on Friday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009. Featuring music from "Wish You Were Here," "Animals," "Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall," fans of the original psychedelic British rock band will have the chance to relive these classic songs through Australian Pink Floyd's "Big Pink Greatest Hits World Tour."

Tickets ($42-52) go on sale Friday, August 28 at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased in person at the State Theatre Box Office (805 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, 55402), online at www.HennepinTheatreTrust.org, or through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-982-2787 or visiting a Ticketmaster Ticket Center. Established around the world, THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW has become a definitive concert experience for live music audiences, with Floyd fans of all ages embracing it. David Gilmour, lead guitarist and singer for Pink Floyd, lent his endorsement after seeing them perform numerous times, saying "they really are very, very good indeed." This "greatest hits" concert will showcase the group's meticulous attention to detail, delivering a Pink Floyd show at its most flamboyant with new animation, lasers, inflatable figures and the reverberating soundscape that has entranced millions of Pink Floyd fans for the past 15 years. "Comfortably Numb," "Hey You" and "Another Brick in the Wall" are just a few of over twenty classic Pink Floyd tracks that will be performed each night. THE AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW will return to Minneapolis as part of a fifty city North American tour including Los Angeles, Orlando and Boston.
