MIAMI---Stepping up to a new arena of entertainment which now counts three successful restaurants, The Villa By Barton G (former Versace Mansion) and a corporate events division that services national and international clients, New Year's Eve will mark the entry of restaurateur/hotelier Barton G. Weiss' newest venture, PRELUDE BY BARTON G PRESENTS nabbing major star power in Chayenne Jackson as his inaugural attraction. Jackson performs Friday, December 31, and Saturday, January 1, at Prelude By Barton G presented by Barton G. Weiss and The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.

A triple threat actor, singer and dancer who has starred in such hit Broadway shows as "Finian's Rainbow," "Damn Yankees," and "Xanadu," Jackson is currently scoring as fresh-faced Canadian Danny Baker in NBC"s "30 Rock," and as Dustin Goolsby, the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline in Fox's hit TV series "Glee."

Jackson has also appeared with Michael Feinstein at the latter's New York supper club as well as having appeared with him at a sold out Carnegie Hall concert in their critically acclaimed, "The Power of Two."

Citing as his premise an extended effort to bring "a modern edge to a classic style of entertainment," Weiss views his goal as an exclusive opportunity "for South Florida audiences to experience today's biggest names in entertainment in a uniquely personal and intimate setting."

Already lined up for January 14 and 15 is Tony Award winner Karen Olivo who scored for her performance as Anita in "West Side Story;" Gavin Creel, two-time Tony Award nominee for his performances in "Hair" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie and 2009 OUT magazine honoree as one of the OUT 100 appearing January 21 and 22; and Bryant Batt, hailed for his performance as ‘Salvatore Romano' on AMC's hit series, "Mad Men," set for February 4 and 5.

Ben Toth, who has worked with Lea Michele, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Mandy Patinkin is Executive Music Director for this project.

Tickets for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are now on sale. New Year's Eve pricing is $295 including a 3-course dinner, champagne, party favors, show and post-show DJ. Show only, $150. New Year's Day pricing is $195 including 3-course dinner and show and post show DJ. Doors open at 8:30 P.M.
