The Orpheum Cancels Tonight's Performance of THE LION KING Due to Weather Advisory

The Orpheum Theatre in partnership with Disney Theatrical Productions announces that the Tuesday February 17th evening performance of Disney's THE LION KING is cancelled due to inclement weather. Currently, all other performances will run as scheduled.

Patrons who purchased a ticket to the Tuesday, February 17th performance through the primary ticketing services of Ticketmaster or the Orpheum Theatre Box Office will receive a full refund for the entire purchase amount. The patron's credit card will be refunded automatically within 7-10 business days. Cash purchases will be refunded at the point of purchase. If a patron purchased through a secondary ticket outlet, then they will need to contact that outlet for their ticketing policies.

In an effort to accommodate patrons who purchased into tonight's sold-out show, Disney Theatrical Productions has added a performance of THE LION KING on Sunday, March 1st at 6:30 PM. Patrons who purchased tickets to the February 17th performance will receive information from Ticketmaster or the Orpheum Theater Box Office about purchasing tickets to this newly added performance. This exclusive offer will be available to those patrons through Thursday, February 19th at 6 p.m.

Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 18th, patrons should contact their point of purchase with any questions about THE LION KING refunds. For Ticketmaster, customers should call 800.653.8000 and for the Orpheum Box Office, customers should call 901.525.3000. The Orpheum's regular Box Office hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
