Peter Pan with Lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden and Adolph Green and Music by Mark Charlap and Jule Styne -- a musical based on the play by James M. Barrie -- will run November 22, 2013 - January 5, 2014 at Playhouse on the Square. Special holiday schedule applies. Evening performances begin at 7:00 PM. Matinees begin at 2:00 PM.

After several years away, the boy who won't grow up is flying back to the Memphis stage! Wendy, John, and Michael Darling's world is turned upside down when Peter Pan swoops into their nursery. He leads them to Neverland where they encounter the cunning and evil Captain Hook, villainous pirates, a crafty crocodile, and the sprightly fairy Tinker Bell. Featuring classic songs such as "I Gotta Crow," "Neverland," and "I'm Flying," Peter Pan promises to touch, inspire, dazzle, and charm all generations.

Peter Pan is directed by Jordan Nichols. Lindsey Roberts and Carly Crawford alternate the role of Peter Pan. Bill Andrews returns as Captain Hook. Associate Company Members Caroline Simpson (Wendy), CharityRuth Haskins (Tiger Lily/Mrs. Darling), and Kent Reynolds (Smee) support.

Peter Pan runs November 22 - January 5 at Playhouse on the Square. There are two Pay What You Can performances: Saturday, December 21st at 2:00 PM and Sunday, January 5th at 7:00 PM. Playhouse on the Square is located at 66 S. Cooper Street. For more information or to make reservations, call 901-726-4656 or purchase tickets online at playhouseonthesquare.org.
