The Orpheum is pleased to welcome back to Memphis string hip-hop duo Black Violin for one night only, Saturday, April 9th at 7 PM. Comprised of Wil B and Kev Marcus, Black Violin smashes musical stereotypes, proving that their hearts are as soulful as their groundbreaking sound.

Wil B (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin) are back with their signature booming beats, classical favorites, and cool pop covers. A groundbreaking collaboration, they are classically trained viola and violin players who fuse classical and hip-hop musical genres. Black Violin has performed their signature sound for everyone from troops in Iraq to both the official President's Inaugural Ball and the Kids Inaugural in Washington, DC. Black Violin recently appeared on The Tonight Show, collaborating live with The Roots, Lil Wayne, and 2 Chainz.

Individual tickets start at $20 per person. Group rates are also available by calling 901.529.4226 or emailing groups@orpheum-memphis.com.
