Maine State Music Theatre will present Tony-nominated actor and singer Euan Morton in concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Pickard Theatre.

Morton, a native of Scotland, is most known for his roles on London's West End and on Broadway. His starring role in the musical Taboo gained him nominations for both Lawrence Olivier and Tony Awards. Over the years Morton has performed concerts in front of sold-out crowds all over New York City and beyond. He's also famous for his Scottish wit.

Morton has released two solo albums, his most recent in May of this year. Caledonia - The Homecoming features ten well-known Scottish folk tunes including: "My Love's Like a Red, Red Rose," "Loch Lomand," "Danny Boy," and "Auld Lang Syne."

Morton will be performing Broadway songs, pop hits and selections from his new album.

Tickets to Morton's third concert at MSMT range from $17 to $30. For tickets, call 725-8769, visit the box office at the theater on the Bowdoin College campus, or visit www.msmt.org.
