Tickets are now available online for Freeport Players' summer play: I HATE HAMLET. The show runs through August 1, with a special performance July 15.

Written by Paul Rudnick, this farce pokes fun at acting, actors, Shakespeare, PBS, Hollywood, television and more. The production is directed by Dan Burson.

Freeport Theater is located at 30 Holbrook St, Freeport, ME. Performances are Fri/Sat 7:30 pm, Sun 2 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. For tickets and more information, visit www.fcponline.org.

Freeport Players provides opportunities for local amateur actors to perform in roles often reserved for professionals. We involve members of our community in all aspects of the process, drawing on their talent and enthusiasm to create the "magic" of theater. Our volunteers are compensated for their time with fun, creative challenges, the chance to learn about the craft of theater, and, often, bonds of friendship that endure long after the curtain closes.
