Leapin' Lizards! The popular comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world's best- loved family musicals.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.

In adventure after fun-filled adventure in the streets of New York Annie foils Hannigan's evil machinations, befriends Franklin Delano Roosevelt, beguiles billionaire Oliver Warbucks, and adopts a lovable mutt named Sandy. Then, in the warmth of the Christmas season, Annie finds a new home and family.

The show opens on Friday, December 6th and plays Fridays & Saturdays Sundays (12/8 & 12/15) and Saturday, December 21st. Call the Box Office for tickets & seat availability (207) 799-1421, ticketslyric@gmail.com or visit www.lyricmusictheater.org. Group rates available for 10 or more. All Performances at Lyric Music Theater, 176 Sawyer St., South Portland, Maine.

Directed by David Surkin, the show features choreographer Celeste! Green, musical director Sylvia Infantine and producer Donna Green.

WAYSIDE KITCHEN FOOD DRIVE: Lyric Music Theater is continuing our partnership with the Wayside Soup Kitchen to support food banks and shelters in the Greater Portland area throughout our 2013-2014 Season. We will continue collecting non-perishable food items at all performances, events, and during box office hours. By donating non-perishable foods whenever you visit Lyric, you can help make a big difference to those in need. No gift is too big or small; working together with you is the greatest gift of all!

CANS FOR KIDS: Our newest community outreach program, Lyric Music Theater's CANS FOR KIDS, allows us to turn your donated returnable cans and bottles into theater tickets to Lyric Productions, which are donated to local organizations that serve disadvantaged children. To get started, pick up a packet at the theater, fill the bag with clean, empty returnables, slap on the sticker, and drop off at any CLYNK location.
