AFYL online courses are the latest development from the company, founded by Master Teacher Kathryn Zeigler, that for 10 years has promoted and helped foster balance in life and career for artists at every skill and professional level. AFYL was conceived and created by Kathryn Zeigler during her time teaching acting classes in New York City. Zeigler found that her students would spend a significant portion of class time discussing the struggles in their daily lives. To make the most of her students' time, she began introducing guest speakers on practical life skills such as job searching, health care, budget management, and more. Zeigler found that introducing her students to methods to take control of the factors of their daily life dramatically focused and improved their work in the classroom.

In the 10 years since, Zeigler has taken the reach of AFYL international with live training courses and motivational media covering a multitude acting and practical skills.
