The story of the late Molly Ivins, the old school maverick, fiercely independent newspaper columnist and a Texan with a capital T.

She is the Texas tornado with a sharp wit and reporter's determination, dressed in a blue jean shirt, faded jeans and red cowboy boots.

But as the show goes on a deeper story is told, of the deeply empathetic woman who battled cancer with the same ferocity she brought to her life and career.
