Angel City Chorale (ACC), the acclaimed Los Angeles choir led by Artistic Director Sue Fink, will kickoff the holidays with its festive annual winter concert and sing-along, Sing Joy, which takes place the first weekend in December at the Wilshire United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. Sing Joy is a border-crossing journey of festive holiday music in ACC`s sophisticated blend of styles, from classical and traditional to spirited contemporary and R&B. The concert will feature holiday favorites that echo the diversity of Los Angeles. In addition to popular American songs, African, Jewish, Middle Eastern, South American, and British traditions are also represented in a joyful musical montage. This season`s song selection ranges from Vivaldi to Pentatonix. Audiences will also have the chance to lift their voices in song with the 150+ member ACC and its instrumental ensemble on familiar carols. Traveling through time and around the globe, Sing Joy has something for everyone: crossing centuries, musical borders, and rich cultural traditions.
