A Little New Music 8 at Rockwell: Table and Stage

Continuing their mission of premiering new and unpublished musical theater tunes, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC returns with a highly original program featuring Broadway and local talent. Tony Award-winner, Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden), will co-host with her spicy partner-in-comedy, Jordan Kai Burnett (Love is a Battlefield). Bryan Blaskie (Victorian Courting and Zombies) will return as musical director.

The evening will showcase songs by Grammy-nominated duo Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid, Wallowitch and Kleban Award-winners Sam Carner and Derek Gregor (Unlock'd), Bill Nelson and Will Aronson (Harmony, Kansas/Bungee Jump), Brian Woodbury (Killa Vanilla), and more top writers to be announced.

Joining Daisy and Jordan onstage will be Tony Award nominee and MAC Award winner Sharon McKnight (Starmites/Red Hot Mama), LA icon Ryan O'Connor (host of "Musical Mondays" and LadyWatch with Ryan and Jason), Kelley Dorney (PBS's A Tale of Two Cities), Amanda Kruger (Nick Jr's "Fresh Beat Band"), Matthew Sims (Recorded in Hollywood: the Musical), Kate Ponzio (LA's Next Great Stage Star). Additional casting will be announced in the coming weeks.

A LITTLE NEW MUSIC is the best hour of new and unheard musical theatre material in LA. Whether a premiere from an established writer or an undiscovered tune from a promising up-and-comer, the mission is to showcase talent with a program that keeps your finger on the pulse.
