(mostly)musicals to Return to E Spot Lounge with IT'S ABOUT TIME This Month
"It seemed like the perfect time for this show," explains producer amy francis schott.
(mostly)musicals can't wait to entertain you with songs from musicals like CABARET, RAGTIME, PIPPIN, THE LAST 5 YEARS, AMERICAN IDIOT, and more -- plus a few surprises!
These songs will be performed by a timeless line up of talent, including: Tony nominee Sharon McNight (B'way: STARMITES), Jasmin Richardson (currently starring as Deena in La Mirada's DREAMGIRLS), Emily Clark (SLIGHTLY DRAMATIC), Rhett George (B'way: MEMPHIS, WICKED), Jeffrey Polk (B'way: FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE), Kelley Dorney (ADAM & EVE & STEVE), Jason Peter Kennedy (Actors' Co-op's 110 IN THE SHADE), Laura L. Thomas (Pasadena Playhouse's BREAKING THROUGH), Alli Miller (Cherry Poppins), Espiridion Magana ( Univision's "Va Por Ti"), Jeffrey Landman (B'way: LES MIS), Dedrick Bonner (Nat'l tour: THE COLOR PURPLE), and more.
Gregory Nabours is mmLA's music director (now and forever). And if you'd like some TIME in the spotlight, stick around and take part in the open mic after-party (hosted by Mark Jacobson) immediately following the show.
Advance tickets are available at www.espotlounge.com. Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner and drinks. Tickets are $15 with a 2-item minimum. The E Spot Lounge is located on the upper level of Vitello's Restaurant (recently named one of Open Table's 100 Hottest Restaurants in the US!) at 4349 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA. Valet and street parking are available.
