In honor of its upcoming L.A. premiere engagement of BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, the Pantages Theatre declared that Thursday 2/2 to be "Tutu Day." The very unofficial celebration was marked by several celebrations involving the beautiful, inspirational and versatile tutu. In BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL, the tutu is not just a piece of dancewear, but it comes to symbolize personal expression and the dream of one boy that inspires an entire community.
