The Legend of Sleepy Hollow including the Headless Horseman is coming to Laguna! Presented on-stage beginning Friday, November 8 through Sunday November 17 at the Laguna Playhouse Moulton Theatre, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will be directed by Donna Inglima, with musical direction by Mark Turnbull and choreography by Ellen Prince.

Audiences will be delighted with this Classic American tale of Ichabod Crane, the lanky, superstitious, schoolmaster; the Young Katrina Van Tassel (daughter and sole child of a wealthy farmer) and Abraham "Brom Bones" Van Brunt, the town rowdy who competes with Crane for Katrina's hand. The year is 1790, the place, Tarrytown, NY , called Sleepy Hollow by its residents. The Countryside is renowned for its ghosts and 'a headless horseman' that haunts the woods. Writer, Actor, and award winning Cookbook author Matthew Locricchio will be available to meet and greet the audience and sign copies of his new book on November 8. Matthew is the recipient of the 2013 International Association of Cooking Professional Award winner for his cook book Teen Cuisine: New Vegetarian. Amazon books.

The cast of SLEEPY HOLLOW features actors from the Laguna Beach and Orange County areas. Alan Slabodkin as Ichabod Crane, Jennifer Pearce as Katrina, Aaron Canter as Brom Bones, Claire Day and Charlie McClung as Mr. & Mrs. Van Tassel and an ensemble cast who play Storytellers, School Children, Horses, the Gallows Tree, environmental sounds and musical instruments. Ensemble members include: Faith Ackley, Rudy Buttlar, Samia El-Erian, Ben Field, Troy Huyen, Kayla Oldfield, Kalista Puhnaty, Emmalisa Randrup, Isabelle Schoenhoefer, Hannah Smith, Quinton Yusi, Siena Yusi, and Trevor Yusi.

THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW will perform on Friday, November 8 at 7pm; Saturday, November 9 at 1pm & 6pm; Sunday, November 10 at 1pm and 6pm; Friday, November 15 at 7pm Saturday, November 16 at 1pm & 6pm; Sunday, November 17 at 1pm and 6pm at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.
