It was recently announced that EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL would be playing at The Insurgo Theater inside the Plaza, but in one short week the show has gone from that location to The V Theater inside Planet Hollywood. The V Theater was the venue originally desired for the show, and now it is poised to take its place on the strip.

Starting June 22nd, EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL will be taking up residency in Sin City at The Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. Sirc Michaels Productions is presenting the show at The V Theater, located in the Miracle Mile Mall. The show will run Friday and Saturday nights. Times, ticket prices, cast list, and other details shall be released soon.

This is a return of sorts for many of the cast and crew members of the version of the show that ran to great fanfare last October and earlier this year. Ben Stobber will be returning to reprise his role of Ash, along with most of the cast. Sirc Michaels will be directing once again. While the show brings together many of the same people, it includes effects, sets, choreography, makeup, and other elements that were not possible in its past incarnation.

"This is a giant leap for a show originally produced at the local community level," says Sirc Michaels, the show's director and producer. "It has gone from being a small local production to a show on the strip. I'm not sure if that's happened before, but it's pretty amazing to be a part of it."

Sirc Michaels Productions is excited to be working with The V Theater to present this new type of interactive entertainment experience to fans of the show, residents of Las Vegas, and tourists alike.
