The Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) will hold a second round of auditions for specific roles in its 2011-2012 Season Thrusday, August 18, 2011 beginning at 6PM at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre (177 Sala Avenue in Westwego, LA). JPAS seeks actors ages 17 and up to fill certain roles listed below. AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY AUDITIONED FOR THE JPAS SEASON SHOULD NOT AUDITION AGAIN. CALL 504-885-2000 X202 TO SCHEDULE AND AUDITION TIME!

Auditioners are required to submit an audition form availalbe for download at www.jpas.org and, a current headshot and resume at the time of their audition. Auditioners should be interested in a particular available role(s) and MUST prepare & sing the entire specified song the character sings available for download at www.jpas.org. JPAS is also accepting applications and volunteers for technical positions in scenic, costuming, sound, lighting and stage managers for the 34th Season. As always, JPAS is accepting volunteers age 15+ for various positions including house staff, administrative assistance, production assistance, stage crew and wardrobe crew. Join the villagers of the beautiful fictional village of Grapplin, County Sligo, Ireland, as they tell tales, sing songs and mourn the passing of one of their own. Flanagan. You'll be transported to the Emerald Isle to grieve as only the Irish can. You can share tales of your own experiences and misadventures with dear old Flanagan, or simply enjoy the stories and songs of the locals as they recall life with "Himself."

FARBRIZIO NACCERELLI (Lyrical tenor to a high B, early 20s) Fabrizio is a dazzingly handsome Italian boy. He is innocent, pure and sweet. He speaks very little English. Most of his dialogue is in Italian and broken English. He is any young American girl's dream of what a young Italian man should be.
MUST PREPARE ALL THREE SONGS
SIGNORA NACCERELLI Signora Naccarelli (Legit Soprano, Mid 40s to 50s) She is Fabrizio's mother. She appears to be the dutiful, traditional Italian wife and mother but she has her own thoughts about everything. She primarily speaks Italian.
