RTÉ lyric fm is delighted to continue its new stream of outreach activity this term. Music for all Ages is an engaging and entertaining RTÉ lyric fm outreach programme of live music performances, taking place in educational and community settings.

A team of musicians will visit Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Third Level Institutions, Care Homes and Libraries in Louth, Meath, Cavan and Monaghan.

The concept behind this project is "Life-long learning: listen, engage, enjoy." The USP of this project is that RTÉ lyric fm brings live music direct to your community, your organisation and your town - RTÉ lyric fm bringing music to you!

The programme is presented by the RTÉ lyric fm Quartet led by presenter Evelyn Grant (flute/piano), Mary McCague (violin/piano), Adrian Petcu (viola) and Gerry Kelly (cello). The programme will be offered in two specific regions this term, Cavan/Monaghan and Louth/Meath during the following period: Monday November 14th to Friday November 18th.

10 concerts are offered free of charge to organisations as part of the RTÉ licence fee commitments 2016 but strictly on a first come first served basis . For details about the project and how to apply www.rte.ie/lyricfm and click on education or email outreach.lyricfm@rte.ie.
