Saturday Acting Club Yogyakarta proudly present their latest work entitled THE ART OF IMPROVISATION, a theater based on improvisation for all the supporting elements. The performances are held as one of the granted work of Arts Grants for Innovative Work 2016 by Kelola Foundation, with the support from First State Investments and Citi Indonesia.

THE ART OF IMPROVISATION aim to innovate interactive theatrical experience where the audience are getting a new way to enjoy a theatrical performance. The audience is no longer placed as rigid audience, but they will engage their hearts and minds deeply in the process of creating stage play. This work also challenge the quality of actors in a complete theatrical performance that is full of improvisation and spontaneity.

Each performance will be divided into two sessions. In the first session, the theme will be determined by the audience, and the second session will involve audience participation.

THE ART OF IMPROVISATION will be held on Monday and Tuesday, 3-4 October 2016 on the Auditorium Department of Theatre - Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia (Indonesia Institute of Arts or ISI) Yogyakarta at 7:30 pm.
