BWW Previews: KADAMB'S “RIWAAYAT at Prithvi Theatre

Amongst the richest cultural legacies of India remains its unique tradition of dance and music. It is indeed quite mind boggling for someone to discover how every state and region revels in a dance form of its own. Increasingly as a newer realization to preserve the heritage and the history behind each of these performing art forms gains ground, the organizations, activists and enthusiasts are coming together to make art forms more accessible to the audiences.

An attempt to bring the magic of such performances to connoisseurs and to help people understand and appreciate art forms better will be an evening of traditional dance.

RIWAAYAT promises to be an evening of traditional repertoire presented by Sanjukta Sinha along with kadamb ensemble, choreographed by Padamabhushan Kumudini Lakhia.
