Won't care about women this year."

Real good stories can be summed in but one sentence, just like that: Kató, the dreamy, drowsy daughter of the director of a baby food factory dresses up like a man, and travels to Venice, Italy to punish a self-conscious misogynist fellow.

The original, 1934 production of Me and My Little Brother had seen a 100 series run since its debut at Budapest Operetta Theatre, and is still one of the most popular pieces, often featured on the repertoire of prominent Hungarian theatres.

Revised by Attila L?rinczy, orchestrated by Tamás Bolba and featuring choreography from Jen? L?csei, the piece will truly be revived, and with an all-star cast! The show introduces Dóra Szinetár and Attila Dolhai, the legendary pair from Romeo and Juliet, as Kató and Andersen, and features Árpád Zsolt Mészáros with a young actress, Panna Simon, who will celebrate her first time debut in an operetta show. In the role of Gyula Kabos, the show presents Tamás Jordán as a guest artist along with András Faragó of Budapest Operetta and Musical Theatre's fame.

But what is the secret behind the success of Me and My Little Brother? Maybe it is only the fact that the piece has everything that makes a good musical show: likeable, original characters, humorous and well-written storyline, clever lyrics, and evergreens like "Egy kicsit angyal legyen, egy kicsit démon...", "Csa-csa-csak egy csöppet ittam, kérlek..." and "Ma Velence szebb, mint máskor...".

The story takes place in a baby food factory and in the fantastic parade of the Carnival of Venice, where our silly but lovely heroes try to find their happiness through changing their clothes, playing various roles and carrying out secret missions.

Me and My Little Brother is a fantastic show with an all-star cast, and it is not only the most exciting theatrical event of the spring, but it also offers the audience an opportunity to travel to Venice for the price of a theatre ticket!
