Leave the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season behind for a few hours and enjoy Clear Creek Community Theatre's production of IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE. In this timeless classic, George Bailey is a man who has given up his dreams in order to help others. Business and personal setbacks drive George to the brink of suicide on Christmas Eve when divine intervention in the form of his guardian angel, Clarence, appears by his side. Clarence shows George all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community of Bedford Falls would be had he never been born.

Director Terri Hoover notes working with the large cast, especially the children, has been a blessing. "The children have been amazing. They give all they have and every one of them had their lines learned in the first week. They get so excited every time they take the stage and are sure to bring a smile to your face."

Hoover adds that having a perfect blend of seasoned actors and new actors has been a treat. "Those with years of experience step up and help guide the process and watching a show go up through the eyes of someone new to the stage helps remind me of why I do this. Add to all that the joy of a story with a wonderful message behind it and you have the recipe for success".

IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE runs December 4 through December 20. As added treat, Santa Claus himself will be available to prior to each matinee performance for photographs and to hear those all-important requests from children young and old.

Matinee performances begin at 2:30pm on December 12 and 19 (Saturdays) and December 6, 13, and 20 (Sundays). Evening performances start at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the run.

Tickets are $13-$15 and can be purchase online at www.clearcreekcommunitytheatre.com or by calling the box office at 281-335-5228. IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE would make a great outing for business and social groups, so make plans now. Group rates are available.
