Fabrizio Bosso, one of today's most moving trumpet players in Italy, intriguing, exciting, has an eclectic taste and a unique and personal touch, will perform as part of the "Hot Jazz" series along with the wonderful Italian-English pianist Julian Oliver Mazzariello in a virtuoso duet for trumpet and piano of Duke Ellington's compositions - a must watch for all jazz fans!

Fabrizio Bosso, an ocean of talent and a nonstop, successful international career full of interesting musical collaborations. He published dozens of albums at which were recorded by record labels such as Blue Note, EMI and Verve/Universal, among others.

Fabrizio's style resounds with echoes from the classic bop era, among his notes and virtuosisms you can hear reminiscences from Miles Davis to Don Cherry and from Nino Rota to the great Chet Baker. It is the bop of the third millennium, with a proverbial sense of swing and flow. His desire and ability to amaze manifests itself in a balanced mix of virtuosity and poetics. His love for bop is always present but is filtered by a great sensitivity and personal taste which makes his sound very contemporary but still classic.

His long list of collaborations is long and includes jazz artists such as Joe Lovano, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Mario Biondi, Stefano Di Battista, Ian Shaw, Rosario Giuliani, Raphael Gualazzi and Lucian Biondini. Fabrizio brought is various projects on all the most legendary stages, from the North Sea Jazz Festival to the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, from Le Parc Floral in Paris to Monte Carlo and as far as Argentina and Japan, where he is truly a star.

Bosso published a thrilling duo album in which his telepathic interplays with Italian-English pianist Julian Oliver Mazzariello are no less than perfect. Bosso and Mazzariello master their instruments magnificently, with a rich musical knowledge of the history of jazz, so much that the listener is hard to identify that they are performing a duo. The way in which Bosso shapes his sound and Mazzariello feels comfortable not only during the piano solos but he also provides a delicate accompaniment for Bosso (a real challenge for every jazz pianist) is a fabulous experience.
