(11/11/2016) - On November 11, 2016 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, will continue its 34th season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with Concert for Courage, a program that will commemorate Veterans Day by honoring the brave men and women of the nation's armed forces. The orchestra will be joined by The Soldiers' Chorus of The U.S. Army Field Band in performances of patriotic songs and classic Americana for a jubilant celebration of those who are serving and have served the United States of America. (11/4/2016) - On Monday, October 31, 2016, Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) hosted its annual gala benefit to support the school's year-round visual and performing arts programming and initiatives. (10/28/2016) - T. Schreiber Theatre (TST) celebrates its 48th Anniversary with the first play of their 2016-17 Season, The Motherf**ker with the Hat by Stephen Adly Guirgis. The production is the first New York revival of the play since the Broadway run in 2011. Playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2015 for his play Between Riverside and Crazy and co-created the hit Netflix series The Get Down with Baz Luhrmann. Be More Chill was first produced at Two River Theatre in New Jersey, where it was given its world premiere.
