The Off Broadway Palm Theatre presents the regional premier of First Date playing now through March 7, 2015. This new musical comedy recently played on Broadway and tells a hysterical and hopeful story about the chances we take to find love.

A blind date first-timer is set up with a serial-dater and a casual drink at a busy New York restaurant turns into a hilarious, high-stakes dinner. The date unfolds in real time on stage, and the couple quickly finds they are not alone on this date as their inner critics take on a life of their own when restaurant patrons and the wait staff get into the act. There are Google background checks, fake emergency phone calls, supportive best friends, manipulative exes, and protective parents, who all sing and dance them through the date's awkward moments.

The Off Broadway Palm Theatre is an intimate 100-seat theatre, located in the main lobby of Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. With no seat further than 25 feet away from the stage, you become part of the show.

Grab a date and head to The Off Broadway Palm Theatre for First Date playing now through March 7, 2015. Performances are Tuesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Ticket prices range from $31 to $51 with group discounts available for parties of 20 or more. Tickets are now on sale and can be reserved by calling (239) 278-4422, by visiting www.BroadwayPalm.com or by stopping by the box office at 1380 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.
