Legendary Broadway singer Andrea McArdle is returning to TheatreZone to headline the non-profit Equity theatre group's 10th anniversary concert today announced TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni.

The 10th anniversary concert cast includes TheatreZone co-founder Karen Molnar and fan favorites Larry Alexander, Karen Cipriani, Wayne Morton, Gerrit Vandermeer, Carolann Sanita, Charles Fornara and many more, backed by a 10-piece live orchestra and conducted by Danni. Four concerts are scheduled for Friday, February 20 at 8 pm, Saturday, February 21 at 8 pm and Sunday, February 21 at 2 pm and 7:39 pm. Tax deductible tickets cost $100 each and VIP center aisle tickets cost $125 each. Ticket prices includes a wine and cheese reception immediately following the concert in the G&L Theatre annex Lakeside.

Ms. McArdle, Broadway's all grown up goddaughter, is returning to TheaterZone in Naples to collaborate with director Danni for an unparalleled fourth time.

Danni met Ms. McArdle in her Philadelphia hometown on the national tour of Les Miserables in 1996. McArdle played the lead role of Eponine, while Danni played drums and was an assistant conductor in the orchestra. Danni cast Ms. McArdle to play Eva Peron in TheatreZone's 2008 production of Evita -- the actress made good as a dictator's wife. The easy rapport and mutual trust between the actress and director was established.

She returned to Naples in 2009 bringing her intimate Broadway and classic pop tunes You Don't Know Me concert to the G&L Theatre with Danni, a professional drummer/percussionist, accompanying her band on the drums. In March 2011, Danni cast Ms. McArdle in the lead role of Mrs. Johnstone in Blood Brothers.

TheatreZone's 10th anniversary concert will include songs from the group's past decade of musical performances and concludes with Ms. McArdle's rendition of the iconic song "Tomorrow" from Annie - The Musical.
