This energetic musical is based on several parables from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, intermingled with infectious pop, folk and rock songs.
Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from 3-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children Of Eden)and it took the world by storm. Led by the international hit, "Day By Day",Godspell features a parade of beloved songs. —MTI

Miners Alley Playhouse has been designated as a Small Professional Theatre Level Six under the guidelines of Actors Equity Association. Out of Colorado’s over 100 live theatres listed with the Colorado Theatre Guild, only nine currently hold status as Actors Equity Association Union Theatres. Miners Alley Playhouse joins the ranks as the tenth active Actors Equity Association Union Theatre in Colorado, joining The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, The Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, Curious Theatre (not listed with CTG), Creede Repertory Theatre, TheatreWorks (Colorado Springs), Theatre Aspen, Colorado Shakespeare Festival (Boulder), Aurora Fox, and Lake Dillon Theatre Company.
