Southern Delaware branches of WSFS Bank presented Clear Space Theatre Company a donation of $1,000.00 to help underwrite the programmatic costs of Clear Space's Arts Institute, which provides arts education programming to students of all ages.

Clear Space Board Chair, Christopher Berg, shared "Students of all ages can benefit from the creative processes learned through exposure to the arts. Outside of the skills gained to convey their artistic expression, the exposure will provide them growth in many personal and professional areas, including: confidence; teamwork; cultural awareness; language development; decision making; inventiveness; and improved academic performance to name a few. Clear Space is grateful to WSFS for recognizing arts education as an important part of personal development, and supporting our mission to provide this form of education to the communities we both serve."

Dionndra Rooks (pictured), Assistant Branch Manager for the Ocean View branch of WSFS, as well as a Clear Space board member, says "I appreciate working for a company who is willing to support our community, and understands the value of investing in arts education opportunities." WSFS Long Neck Branch Manager, Terry Kistler, concurred adding, "What a wonderful opportunity for our bank to help Clear Space continue its effort to grow and educate a thriving arts community, as well as help build the next generation of theater arts enthusiasts."

Clear Space offers year-round classes in acting, voice, and more, for all ages and experience levels, taught by professional actors and educators. Founded in 2013, the Cheryl Graves Scholarship Fund provides scholarship funding for those students seeking financial assistance for underwriting Arts Institute education programming. Tax-deductible donations may be made for those seeking to further endow the scholarship fund. Clear Space Theatre Company is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, located at 20 Baltimore Avenue in downtown Rehoboth Beach.
