Possum Point Players invite everyone "Into the Woods" for a fall adventure. The award winning Stephen Sondheim musical opens Friday, Sept. 30 and continues Oct. 1, 2, 7, 8, 9. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. All seats are reserved and tickets are $23 for adults and $22 for students and senior citizens. To purchase tickets, call 302-856-4560, or buy on line at www.possumpointplayers.org.

A mix and match of favorite fairy tales from everyone's childhood, "Into the Woods" includes fair young maidens, an occasional giant, dashing, if slightly obnoxious, princes, a moderate-sized bad wolf and, of course, a witch. A cow and a boy with beans are central characters, some bakers who are unhappy because they can't get anything cooking in the oven and some wicked step-relatives all cross paths at one time or another as they wander "Into the Woods."

Everyone has wishes and no one can imagine what might really happen if all those wishes are granted. Well stocked with fairy tale costumes, really big hair and a score of Sondheim, "Into the Woods" is suitable for all audiences.
