Director Kenney Workman and Music Director Melanie Bradley have assembled a cast from many central and Southern Delaware communities, most of them very familiar with Possum Hall stage. Workman said, "I am very proud of all the hard work our 'Baby' cast has put into this show. We have wonderful voices and acting that tell a humorous, sometimes sentimental, story." Workman and Bradley have collaborated on several musical productions, including "Les Miserables," "Ragtime" and "Guys and Dolls."

The youngest couple in "Baby," who did not expect to be expecting, Danny and Lizzie, are portrayed by Peyton Lynch, Georgetown, and Ashlie Workman, Rehoboth Beach. Married and making a sportsman like effort to be parents, Pam and Nick are played by Lindsey O'Day, Milford, and Anthony Natoli, Lewes. Arlene and Alan, Barbara Baltz-Logan, Seaford, and Don Megee, Georgetown, are set to finally enjoy an empty nest when they find out someone else will hatch out soon.

An ensemble of "townspeople" keep the couples company singing their way through such songs as "Fatherhood Blues" and "The Ladies Singin' Their Song." Making up the ensemble are Pat Erhardt and Holly Griffin, Seaford, Mike Helfrich, Millville, Hope Larson, Laurel, Kori Lewandowski, Bridgeville, Marsha Shull, Millville, and Claudius Bowden and Cat Timko, Georgetown.

Possum Point Players is supported, in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
