Victoria Theatre Association presents the final Mid-Day Arts Café of the 2011-2012 season, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the Mathile Theatre at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center.  May's Mid-Day Arts Café highlights The Human Race Theatre Company, the Dayton region's resident professional company, and their upcoming performance of Band Geeks!

 

May's Mid-Day Arts Café closes the season with a look at the creative work and development of The Human Race Theatre Company's newest show, Band Geeks! (Loft Theatre, May 31-June 17).  With music by Gaby Alter, Mark Allen and Tommy NewmanBand Geeks! is a high-stepping tribute to high school marching bands and misfits everywhere.  VTA's Mid-Day Arts Café welcomes members of the cast and creative team behind Band Geeks! along with The Human Race Producing Artistic Director Kevin Moore who will share the development and inspiration behind this triumphant musical for all ages.
