From 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the first and third Friday of every month, listeners that want to be in-the-know on what's happening on the local arts and culture scene can tune in to WATR 1320AM for the Palace Theater's newly expanded radio program YOUR PALACE - YOUR PLACE.

Hosted by Palace Theater Marketing and Public Relations Officer Sheree Marcucci, YOUR PALACE - YOUR PLACE will feature celebrity interviews, the latest news from the Palace Theater and the local arts scene, foodie segments highlighting area restaurants, and weekly special guests dropping by dish on fun and fascinating community topics.

On Friday, Oct. 2, Marcucci will interview actress Kaitlin Lawrence, who plays "Dorothy Brock" in the Palace's upcoming Webster Broadway Series presentation of 42ND STREET, and will sit down with dance instructor Audra Mailhot and Boys and Girls Club of Greater Waterbury Development Director Maybeth Morales to discuss the organization's "Tapping Into Your Potential" afterschool dance program in partnership with the Palace. Waterbury staple Diorio Restaurant and Bar will also be featured in this week's foodie segment.

The Palace's primary purpose is to revitalize the Greater Waterbury community through the presentation of the performing arts and educational initiatives in collaboration with area cultural and educational institutions. Its mission is to preserve and operate the historic Palace Theater as a performing arts center and community gathering place that provides a focal point of cultural activity and educational outreach for diverse audiences.
