Edgy and quirky, Emmy award-winning actress and comedian Judy Gold comes to Bristol Riverside Theatre tonight, August 9-11 in a program of hilarious stand-up comedy. Performances are Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 PM and Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM.

Tickets start at $30 for adults and are $15 for students. Tickets are available by visiting brtstage.org or calling the BRT Box Office at 215-785-0100. Bristol Riverside Theatre is located at 120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol, PA.

Dubbed "the funniest mom we know" by Nickelodeon where she is currently the host of NickMom Night Out, Judy Gold has received critical acclaim and numerous awards for her comedic work. In addition to her regular appearances on The View and Tru TV Presents World's Dumbest, Gold has written and starred in two off Broadway shows, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother and The Judy Gold Show - My Life as a Sitcom, for which she won a 2012 Outer Critics Circle Award and the 2007 GLAAD award for "Outstanding New York Theater." She has won two Emmy Awards for her writing and producing work on The Rosie O'Donnell Show. She continues to make frequent acting appearances on popular television shows including Ugly Betty, Law & Orderand Law & Order SVU. She is also a recurring guest comedian on the Comedy Central show Tough Crowd Stands Up.

Since 1986, BRT has brought consistently acclaimed professional theatre to Bucks County and maintained a long-term commitment to finding and developing new plays. The theatre is the recipient of over 66 Barrymore Award nominations for Excellence in Theatre, given annually by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia. In addition to its mainstage productions, the theatre serves as a cultural hub for the community, with such programs as children's theatre, community concerts and exhibitions of local visual arts. Currently under the direction of Artistic Director Keith Baker, Founding Director Susan D. Atkinson, and Managing Director, Amy Kaissar, BRT enters its 27th anniversary season.
