"Providing a unique blend of entertainment that appeals to all of our guests has always been a priority for Foxwoods Resort Casino," stated Monique Sebastian, Foxwoods Resort Casino VP of Entertainment & Entertainment Marketing. "The Broadway Series at Foxwoods is yet another example of our unwavering commitment to remain the entertainment capital of the Northeast."

The Broadway Series at Foxwoods kicks off with a pair of must-see performances of the 1971 classic "Jesus Christ Superstar" on April 7 & 8. In 1970, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber recorded a concept album called, Jesus Christ Superstar - A Rock Opera. By 1971, the "Brown Album," as it became known, reached #1 on the Billboard Chart, eventually becoming the biggest selling album of 1971 - all before anyone ever stepped on a stage to perform it. Within two years, "Jesus Christ Superstar" was up on Broadway, a film version soon followed, and Rice and Webber became household names. Guests can expect a full-on contemporary rock and roll spectacle, with a band and singers on stage throughout the performance, complete with epic lighting and thunderous sound. All tickets are just $20.

The Broadway Series at Foxwoods continues May 13 - 18 with a six-day/eight show run of the American musical "42nd Street." "42nd Street" tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a starry-eyed young dancer who leaves her quiet Allentown home for New York City to audition for the new Broadway musical, Pretty Lady. When the legendary leading lady breaks her ankle, underdog Peggy takes over and, against all odds, becomes a star. With a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, music by Harry Warren and lyrics by Al Dubin, this sparkling production utilizes direction by Mark Bramble and choreography by Randy Skinner, the team who staged the 2001 Tony Award®-winning Best Musical Revival. Tickets are $55 and $35.

Beginning June 15 and running through June 18, The Broadway Series at Foxwoods presents another Tony Award winning musical, "Pippin." "Pippin" is a high-flying, death-defying hit Broadway musical. Full of extraordinary acrobatics, wondrous magical feats and soaring songs from the composer of "Wicked," "Pippin" will lift you up and leave you smiling. This unforgettable new production is the winner of four 2013 Tony Awards® including Best Musical Revival. Hailed as "an eye-popping, jaw-dropping extravaganza," it's unlike anything you have ever seen! Come experience "Pippin" one young man's journey to be extraordinary. "Pippin" is noted for hits such as "Corner of the Sky," "Magic To Do," "Glory," and "Love Song." Tickets are $55 and $40.

Rounding out The Broadway Series at Foxwoods will be the farewell tour of international smash hit "Mamma Mia!" with daily shows July 14 - 17. "Mamma Mia!" is one of the most successful musicals of all time, the eighth longest running show in Broadway history and one of only five musicals to have run for more than ten years on Broadway. The West End production is now in its eighteenth year. To date "Mamma Mia!" has been seen by over 60 million people worldwide in 50 productions in 16 different languages. Inspired by the storytelling magic of ABBA's songs from "Dancing Queen" and "S.O.S." to "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me," "Mamma Mia!" is a celebration of mothers and daughters, old friends and new found family. Tickets are $65 and $45.
