Final Performances of Becoming Dr. Ruth Highlighted During a Special 'Sneek Peek' for Residents at The Watermarkat 3030 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut

Actor Alice McMahon, Who Portrays Dr. Ruth Westheimer in the Current Square One Theatre production of Becoming Dr. Ruth, Chats with Irene Backalenick, a Resident of The Watermark Following a special 'Sneek Peek' for residents at The Watermark at 3030 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut, actor Alice McMahon, who portrays Dr. Ruth Westheimer in the current Square One Theatre production of Becoming Dr. Ruth, chats with Irene Backalenick, a resident of The Watermark. Becoming Dr. Ruth is a play filled with the humor, honesty and life-affirming spirit of Karola Ruth Siegel, the girl who would later become Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Presented by the Square One Theatre in Stratford, Connecticut, the award-winning McMahon is directed by Tom Holehan. Mark St. Germain's play convincingly and humorously conveys Westheimer's surprising dignity, courage, and resilience.

Becoming Dr. Ruth plays its final week with performances on May 18 through May 21. (Thursday, May 18 at 7pm, Friday, May 19 at 8pm, Saturday, May 20 at 4pm (twilight matinee) and 8pm and Sunday, May 21 at 2pm). On Tuesday, May 23, the Friends of Square One Theatre invite audience members and the general public to Play It Again, Square One for a post-performance wrap-up of Becoming Dr. Ruth with Alice McMahon and director Tom Holehan at 12noon in the Lovell Room of the Stratford Library located at 2203 Main Street in Stratford, Connecticut.
