The Ridgefield Theater Barn is set to present David Mamet's suspenseful drama, Oleanna, in a black box production, today, July 12th through the 20th. The play, directed by Maryann Arcoleo-Koltun and produced by Sherry Asch, will be presented Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm.

Featuring Ridgefielder Harry Lipstein and Samantha Holomakoff, the play is being presented as a black box production, with limited set and technical components, allowing the story to take center stage. A complacent and confident professor about to receive tenure; a frightened and confused student desperate not to fail; a conversation full of misunderstandings; a devastating accusation - these are the simple elements from which David Mamet creates an incendiary portrait of power exploited and abused in his intense and controversial 1992 drama, Oleanna.

The play contains adult situations and is recommended for mature audiences

Tickets are $15. Seating is cabaret style, and doors open one hour prior to curtain. Audiences are encouraged to bring food and drink to enjoy before the show and during intermission. The Ridgefield Theater Barn is located at 37 Halpin Lane. To make reservations or for more information visit www.ridgefieldtheaterbarn.org
