The Westport Country Playhouse has announced that Lewis Cleale will join the previously announced Kate Baldwin in their production of I DO! I DO!  The production will run from August 10 to August 28.

I DO! I DO! features book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt. Based on the Jan De Hartog play THE FOURPOSTER, the two-character story spans fifty years, from 1895 to 1945, as it focuses on the trials and tribulations, laughters and sorrows, and hopes and disappointments experienced by Agnes (Baldwin) and Michael Snow (Cleale) throughout their marriage. The set consists solely of their bedroom, dominated by the large fourposter bed in the center of the room. The orginal production premiered on Broadway in 1966 with Mary Martin and Robert Preston.  The Playhouse's production of I DO! I DO! will be directed by Susan H. Schulman.  To purchase tickets for the show, visit www.westportplayhouse.org.

Kate Baldwin recently starred in Broadway's FINIAN'S RAINBOW, for which she received nominations for a 2010 Tony Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award. Her other Broadway credits include WONDERFUL TOWN, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and THE FULL MONTY.  Baldwin currently appears in PARADISE FOUND, co-directed by Harold Prince and Susan Stroman, in London.

Lewis Cleale appeared in The Westport Country Playhouse's 2008 production of "HOT 'N COLE." His Broadway credits include SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, SPAMALOT, AMOUR, ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, and SWINGING ON A STAR, for which he earned a Drama Desk Award nomination.
