Grzegorz Kotow, violin - Poland
A founding member and second violin of the Szymanowski Quartet. He has played in venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Wigmore Hall in London, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Vienna Konzerthaus. Graduated as a violinist in Poland, he moved to the University of Hanover, where he majors in violin and chamber music. During the first years of the Quartet, Kotow won several international competitions of violin, among them Florence, Osaka, Melbourne, and Weimar. Kotow has works by Gubaidulina, Penderecki and Lindberg contemporary composers in his repertoire. He is teacher at the University of Hanover.
Sergei Sichkov, piano - Russia
He was born in Moscow and 10 years gave her first recital. In 1991 he joined the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he earned Laureate diploma. He made his first appearance in Vienna in 1990 with the student Orchestra of the Conservatory. He participated in the first Festival of Piano Rachmaninov in Moscow in 1993. He carried out doctoral studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 1998. Within his pedagogical work, he has served as Assistant to the teacher Zhukova at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory from 1996 to 1998 and from 1999 he worked as teacher and accompanist pianist in the arts faculties of universities Javeriana, El Bosque, national of Colombia and los Andes.
