Olmsted Performing Arts (OPA) in Olmsted Falls will once again present "Christmas in Italy" - a seasonal market of wonderment at the Olmsted Performing Arts Center (OPAC) - this December.

A selection of delicate Christmas decorations, wonderful books, intricate jewelry, high-quality beauty products, mouth-watering cooking accessories, and many more fantastic items will be on sale in the "Christmas in Italy" marketplace at the OPAC this year.

The "Christmas in Italy" craft fair, a Christmas focused collection of merchant and information tables, inside the elegant atrium of the Olmsted Performing Arts Center, will take place 90 minutes before each production of "The Nutcracker" at the OPAC - Dec. 5-7 and Dec. 12-14. Each night there will be a different group of local vendors offering wonderful gifts, but before each performance visitors can purchase a traditional Italian dinner and some well-crafted wines.

"Christmas in Italy" offers beautiful Christmas gifts for all of your family, along with traditional Italian dinner items, wine and a coffee bar. This special marketplace of unique and talented local, and nationally sold, vendors is a great chance for you to finish your Christmas shopping.

You do not have to attend "The Nutcracker" to come to "Christmas in Italy" and enjoy the wonderful sights, smells and gifts. Gentile's Bakery, Catering and Deli - http://www.gentilesbakery.com - will be selling food each night.

"Christmas in Italy" will be celebrated at the OPAC at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 5, 6, 12 and 13; and at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 14 before the OPA production of "The Nutcracker" - the wonderful, Christmas favorite, ballet filled with the charm, wonder, battles, love and grace of the Dew Drop Fairy, the Mouse King and many other classic characters.

Tickets to "The Nutcracker" at OPA are available now at http://www.olmstedperformingarts.com or over the phone by calling 440.235.6722.

The perfect pre-show event, "Christmas in Italy" is free and begins 90 minutes before each performance of "The Nutcracker" at the OPAC. For more information on "Christmas in Italy" contact the OPA offices at 440.235.6722 or e-mail hq@olmstedperformingarts.com.
