Kenny Vance and The Planotones Come to the Capitol Theatre, 7/27
Kenny Vance and The Planotones return to perform Up Close And Personal at the Capitol Theatre in the Cleveland Street District in Downtown Clearwater.  This will be the band's third appearance at the Capitol Theatre and like the previous two concerts which sold out, tickets are expected to go quickly.

Kenny Vance and The Planotones offer their audience an invitation to their "basement" rehearsal studio for an intimate evening of song and stories spanning Vance's varied and accomplished 50-year career, and to the music that has been its unique soundtrack.

It is a story only Vance and The Planotones can tell, with a historical perspective framed by a multi-faceted career that began on Brooklyn street corners and rose through Jay and The Americans, the Bill Building, Vance's stint as musical director on Saturday Night Live, and numerous music-driven film classics like Animal House, Eddie and The Cruisers, Hairspray and the movie in which The Planotones were "born," American Hot Wax.

After a short intermission, as an added treat, the audience will be able to interact with Vance during a warm and informative question and answer session followed by a concert.

Tickets are $45, $59, and $70(include Meet & Greet) and are available at
