Cincinnati, Ohio -- Internationally acclaimed Italian jewelry designer Marco Bicego is planning a return visit to Cincinnati, where he will greet fans and discuss his latest collections at James Free Jewelers today and tomorrow, November 13th and 14th.

Cincinnati is one of just three cities on his upcoming American tour, which also includes Boca Raton, Florida, and Kansas City, Missouri. The Cincinnati visit will mark his third appearance at James Free Jewelers, one of the Midwest's most highly respected jewelry retailers.

"Marco Bicego is one of Italy's leading names in fine jewelry design," said Michael Karaman, president of James Free Jewelers. "He will bring hundreds of rare pieces, some of which are one of a kind. Each is a collector's item."

Redefining the phrase "timeless luxury," Bicego is known for his exquisite, intricate designs that combine Old World craftsmanship with a contemporary vision. Characteristic features of his designs are exclusive hand-woven coil strands and hand-etched satin finishes, utilizing natural, raw materials, yellow gold and exclusive cut stones.

The Marco Bicego brand is found only in the finest jewelry stores throughout the world. Among Bicego's latest collections to be presented at James Free Jewelers will be the Marco Bicego Diamond Lunaria Collection, the Marco Bicego Paradise Collection, and the Marco Bicego Pezzi Unici Collection. Prices for everyday pieces range from approximately $1,000 to $10,000. Bicego will personally autograph each piece sole, using a special engraving tool.

"All my creations must be manipulated by hand in order for them to preserve a unique and luxurious experience," he said.

Born to a goldsmith father in Italy's Veneto region, Marco Bicego spent years perfecting his craft at his family's atelier. Driven by a desire to create jewelry that blends Old World craftsmanship with modern fashion sensibility, he launched his eponymous jewelry company in 2000.

Since then, Marco Bicego has established itself as a leader in the luxury accessories arena. Distributed to more than 350 fine jewelry retailers in North America (including James Free Jewelers) the company also has "shop-in-shops" in Tokyo, Puerto Rico, Italy, Dubai, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as elegant flagship stores in Verona, Budapest, Crete and Mykonos. The U.S. headquarters is located in San Francisco, California.

Marco Bicego will appear at James Free Jewelers, 9555 Main Street, Montgomery, Ohio 45242, on Friday, November 13, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, November 13, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be available. Admission is free. The Friday event will be open to the public. The Saturday event is by appointment only.
