Pride Films and Plays has announced the cast for Sochi: Three Short Plays About Gay Athletes, which will be performed on Monday, February 24 at 7:00 pm at Center on Halsted, 3656 N Halsted.

Commemorative Edition, by DC Cathro, features a young man for the first time developing a connection with his father while watching the Olympics. AJ Wright directs Sam Button-Harrison*, Jason Grimm, and Emilio Velasco.

Hoya Saxa by Rich Espey is a very timely look at two football players in a locker room. Jeremy Sonkin and Michael John Lea are featured. Tommy Bullington directs.

And in Olympic Fever by George Smart, Will Wilhelm plays a young skater about to depart O'Hare for the Sochi games. Shaun Baer and Emilio Velasco are featured. PFP's Executive Director David Zak directs.

Michael Donley reads stage directions throughout. Production stage manager is Joshua Baggett.

Sochi: Three Short Plays About Gay Athletes will be performed as enhanced stage readings in the Center On Halsted's Hoover-Leppen Theater, 3656 N Halsted.
