Wanna escape your "Hard Knock Life"? Wanna restore your faith in a brighter "Tomorrow"? You can! All it takes is a ticket to Ephrata Performing Arts Center's annual Kids4Kids production of "Annie Jr.

This special production of the megahit Broadway musical "Annie" (professionally tailored for young performers by Music Theatre International) features 67 kids, ages 6 to 15 - and, of course, an irresistible dog - all under the direction of Irving Gonzalez, director of last season's magical "Beauty & the Beast Jr."

"Annie Jr." allows these budding theater talents of tomorrow to spread their wings beyond portraying the show's adorable orphans to take on all the "adult" roles: ranging from billionaire Daddy Warbucks to the nasty Miss Hannigan and even President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 1 and 8; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 2 and 9; and 2 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 3 and 10. Tickets are $10 ages 12 and under, $15 for adults. To reserve seats, visit ephrataperformingartscenter.com or call (717) 733-7966, Ext. 1.

Ephrata Performing Arts Center at the Sharadin Bigler Theatre is located at 320 Cocalico St., Ephrata, Penn.
