San Francisco singer/songwriter, Matt Alber, returns for an intimate acoustic evening of original and familiar songs including his new love anthem, Handsome Man. Alber's set will also feature duets with special guest, Aaron Curry, of their new duo band The Lonelies, marking their New York City debut.

ROCK BOTTOM is what happens when you are too passionate to give up, and too big to fail. The ferociously talented Bridget Everett wrote the show, a chardonnay-soaked journey through the highs and lows of her life, with the Tony Award-winning songwriting duo Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Longtime collaborators and friends Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz and Matt Ray contributed music as well. In it, Everett shares intensely personal moments next to wildly hilarious ones, baring her heart and much more to her audiences. Ricardo Gallo's Tierra de Nadie performs music conceived as a sort of imaginary musical folklore, a "no man's land" that is the intriguing basis for exploratory improvisations. The compositions envision a landscape devoid of flags, providing space for the musical personalities of the players. The stellar line-up on this night will be: Mark Helias on bass, Dan Blake on saxophones, Reut Regev on trombone, Pheeroan akLaff on drums, and Gallo on piano. The group's debut recording The Great Fine Line was released on November 2010 by Clean Feed Records.

Cristin Milioti returns to Joe's Pub after numerous sold out concerts, including the prestigious Lincoln Center's American Songbook. Milioti is known for her dramatic, comedic, and musical work on stage, television and in film. She won a Grammy Award and was nominated for a Tony for her portrayal of "Girl" in the Broadway smash hit musical ONCE. On film, Milioti was most recently seen in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street playing Jordan Belfort's (Leonardo DiCaprio) wife, Teresa Petrillo. On TV, Milioti played Tracy McConnell aka "The Mother" on CBS's hit comedy, How I Met Your Mother, and most recently joined the cast of season two on FX's Golden Globe-winning drama, FARGO. Last fall, she starred in the NBC comedy, A TO Z.

Downtown impresario Earl Dax brings his celebrated Weimar New York back to Joe's Pub for one performance in advance of the show's 6th season at Bard SummerScape. Birthed at the Pub during the dog days of the second term of the Bush administration Weimar New York is a theatrical cabaret that uses the rubric of Weimar Germany to highlight unsettling parallels between the rise of fascism then and conservative political elements today. The show is hosted by Australian cabaret star Paul Capsis, best known to New York audiences for his star turn in the premiere, critically acclaimed season of "Absinthe" at the Spiegeltent near South Street Seaport. Performers include Rachel Mason, Enormvs Muñoz, The Pixie Harlots and Carol Lipnik.

Singer/composer Dorian Wood returns to New York to perform a rare solo show at Joe's Pub, fresh off two successful back-to-back European tours. Since early 2009 the Yiddish Art Trio has set out to redefine the scope of contemporary Yiddish music. Deeply rooted in klezmer and Yiddish music, YAT uses traditional idioms to explore new forms and harmonies, vastly expanding klezmer's musical language. The musicians, recognized globally as authorities within their field, are known for their ability to harness the full range of tonal and expressive possibilities of their instruments, individually and as a trio.

Widely acclaimed as one of today's finest narrative songwriters, Richard Shindell has a rare gift for using detail to illuminate his characters' motivations and actions without ever getting mired in minutiae. Not Far Now's nine new compositions (complimented by a pair of outside songs) are haunting vignettes that exist vividly beyond the song that documents them: Shindell gives the listener a window into these lives, but their story continues long after the window is shut. "Time deposits me, the character I'm writing about, and a listener there at the first line," he observes. "Then, at the end of the song, at the end of the last line, life and time go on. The song happens in between those two moments."

The JP Jofre Hard Tango Chamber Band is one of New York City's hottest in-demand ensembles. Started in 2008 by bandoneonist/composer JP Jofre, it focuses on his own works, as well as authentic interpretations of legendary composers such as Astor Piazzolla. Argentinian expatriate JP Jofre, highlighted several times by the New York Times, and praised by Lincoln Center, who called him "one of today's leading artists," has seen his reputation grow by leaps and bounds. Starting with his quintet's debut performance at Joe's Pub in 2008, JP has been invited to appear at many of the most prestigious concert series in the United States and abroad.
