Christina Bianco and Velma Celli Make Edinburgh Fringe Debut in DIVALLUSION, Now thru Aug 21

Drama Desk Award nominee and YouTube sensation Christina Bianco and cabaret star Velma Celli make their Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut in Divallusion at Assembly Checkpoint from tonight, 31st July - Thursday 21st August at 19.25 (20.25 ends).

Christina and Velma are joining forces to bring you an hour of musical hilarity, celebrating all things DIVA! A cabaret marriage made in heaven. With diverse sketches and musical mashups both singers honour timeless divas presenting familiar hits as you've never heard them before.

Actress, singer and impressionist Christina Bianco has become a worldwide YouTube sensation with her diva impression videos going viral. Christina's rendition of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Let It Go" brought her millions of YouTube hits and lead to performances on The Ellen Degeneres Show and The Queen Latifah Show in America. Most recently she has appeared on The Paul O'Grady Show, ITV. In New York, Christina starred Off-Broadway in Newsical the Musical and Forbidden Broadway; Goes To Rehab (Drama Desk Award Nomination). As a MAC Award nominated Cabaret artist, Christina performed weekly in an unprecedented eight-month run of 11 O'Clock Numbers at Feinstein's at Loew's Regency. Christina has also performed a critically acclaimed extended run at London's Hippodrome and sold out 3 performances at the Royal Albert Hall.

Velma Celli has a residency at London's Hippodrome Casino, presenting an evening of all things fabulous. Velma and her Musical Director Joe Louis Robinson regularly welcome stars from the West End and renowned circus performers to her shows and she is rapidly becoming the UK's queen of live vocal drag. Velma is the alter ego of musical theatre performer Ian Stroughhair who has appeared in many West End hits including Cats, Fame, Chicago and most recently the UK tour of RENT, playing Angel.
