LIFE OF AN ACTRESS THE MUSICAL

Release Date: 12/19/2014

About In this original movie musical, Broadway producer and film director, Paul Chau offers a new model for "bringing a show to Broadway" by creating a cinematic showcase in lieu of backer's auditions and out-of-town tryouts, featuring a hi-profile cast, including Orfeh (Tony-nominated LEGALLY BLOND), Taylor Louderman (starring in NBC's upcoming PETER PAN LIVE), Allison Case (HANDS ON A HARD BODY; HAIR; MAMMA MIA), Bart Shatto (HANDS ON A HARDBODY; LES MISERABLES); Xavier Cano (GREASE, GIANT) and Richard H. Blake (JERSEY BOYS, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, LEGALLY BLONDE). Three young and not so young actress/waitresses share day job duties at a showbiz diner in New York City as they chase their theatrical dreams and battle to preserve their relationships, inspiration and dignity. Their friendships, the diner and its owner are their anchor in a whirl of auditions, near successes and brutal failures. When the diner hits financial headwinds and is about to become fodder in a real estate deal, the stakes rise and long-suppressed tensions and tenderness come to the surface. (C) Official Site
