David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey share their mutual affinity for meditation when she visits the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Thursday, August 1. This is her second-ever visit to the LATE SHOW and her first appearance on the LATE SHOW since Dec. 1, 2005.

Winfrey's entire interview can be seen on the LATE SHOW tonight (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. She stars in the upcoming film "Lee Daniels' The Butler" as Gloria Gaines, wife of Cecil Gaines (Forest Whitaker), who, as a White House butler, witnesses notable events of the 20th century during his tenure. The film is based on the real-life account of Eugene Allen, who served as a White House butler during eight U.S. presidencies from 1952 to 1986. The film is set for release in theaters August 16.

Also visiting the LATE SHOW tonight is actor Paul Rudd, who stars in the new film "Prince Avalanche."

The Late Show with David Letterman is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope, Eric Stangel, Justin Stangel and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
